This e-Book was created from the Emerging Leaders Academy capstone project as a space where everyone could share and contribute stories about ISU history through a variety of lenses focusing on diversity and inclusion. Originally, our group focused on places as such as buildings to share stories of ISU history, but this evolved into adding people, organizations, art, and events to widen the scope. 

It is our hope that this e-book will become a place where everyone is welcomed to contribute in their own way their viewpoint of ISU history on diversity and inclusion.  Our goal is to learn from the past, and to improve our understanding of how we can all be more inclusive and improve our campus climate.
